My practice philosophy is based on achieving positive outcomes for clients through tailoring practical and legal solutions to fit their unique needs. I strongly believe in the preservation of an individual’s rights and in utilising the law to protect client's interests and achieve desired outcomes.

I appear as counsel in trial, inquest and appellate proceedings in South Australian and interstate courts and tribunals at both the State and Commonwealth level and as an advocate in mediations and conferences outside of the courtroom setting.

Since my admission to practice I completed a Masters Degree at the Australian National University with a focus on practical skill applications including advocacy, commercial drafting, federal litigation and the rules of evidence.

Currently I am undertaking further study at the University of Adelaide (PhD) to investigate and evaluate the relationship between the coercive power of the State and the rights of the individual.

Prior to joining the independent bar I worked as a general legal advisor and criminal defence lawyer for the Legal Services Commission and as a trial prosecutor for the South Australian Director of Public Prosecutions.
